As a key member of this team, you will contribute significantly to maintaining high standards of expectations and delivery, driving positive change and innovation within the framework.
Key Responsibilities
- Scoping and design of new products and features in conjunction with product management.
- Scheduling and estimation of software project tasks.
- Software development with emphasis on quality and extensive automation.
- Delivering a performant and scalable product to Workday's global customer base.
- Comprehensive internal documentation of designs and product components.
- Resolution of defects in response to increased support issues and system enhancements.
Required Qualifications / Skills
Basic Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Science or Engineering.
- Experience: 6+ years of proven ability developing applications using all aspects of OO design principles in languages like Java, .Net, Python, C++, or Salesforce development.
Other Qualifications:
- Solid ability in Algorithmic Thinking.
- Working knowledge of API Development, including REST and SOAP principles.
- Good understanding of Code Testing methodologies and best practices.
- Good understanding of Object-Oriented Design (OOD) principles and their application in software design.
- Solid understanding of Software Development principles and methodologies.
- Working experience with Source Control Management (SCM) tools such as Git and various branching strategies.
- Proven ability in Team Collaboration within a fast-paced software development environment.
- Good skills in creating clear and concise Technical Writing Documentation.
